Why does my Ford Transit say 'engine will not restart'?＋
The ECU has logged an SCR fault and started an emissions inducement countdown. Once it reaches zero and you switch the ignition off, the engine won't crank again until the fault is resolved at ECU level.
Can you fix a Transit that has already stopped starting?＋
Yes. We can wake vehicles that have entered the no-start state and complete the removal on-site in a single mobile visit.
Does removal affect the Transit's DPF or servicing?＋
No. The DPF is a separate system and stays fully functional, and normal servicing is unaffected.
